En rouge et noir

I've never been a big fan of wearing red, and neither have I ever loved black combined with red, as this always reminded me of punkers, horror movies or a zombie apocalypse (don't ask me why). I've never been a fan of this look, but then again, when seeing Yves Saint Laurant designs from the 80's, it's such a gorgeous combination.

When the lovely people over at Romwe contacted me to ask if I was interested in reviewing one of their products, I was very excited but slightly wary at the same time - Asian sizing just doesn't agree with my body. I'm too tall, too curvy, and sometimes the fabrics are just too light & transparant, which is just not a good look on me. But I decided to take the risk and order this turtleneck sleeveless dress, and you guys, I swear you, I've never had a dress from an Asian clothing company that was this soft & nice quality. Sizing is pretty amazing too: I chose a size L, and it fits just perfectly. Honestly, so happy with this dress, as it's perfect for the office, but paired with some strappy heels is great for a night out or dinner as well. And all that just for $ 13.56. Yes, I'm quite very happy!

And now I know that red & black can go together without looking like cheap or like a punk, and I might just adopt this colour combination more often in the future. What do you think about combining black & red? Let me know in the comments!
