Mary Katrantzou

I had the amazing opportunity to attend the live screening of Mary Katrantzou's A/W 2015 fashion show, and surrounded by fellow fashion lovers, we all gasped at how beautiful her collection was, yet again. Mary keeps surprising all, and this collection that had amazingly structured pieces and a fabulous pink foam catwalk was one of her best so far in my opinion. I love the story behind the show, and I would like to order one of those swirling below-the-knee peplum pieces right now.

Her collection is called 'kenophobia', which is the fear of empty spaces, which is a very fitting theme as Mary Katrantzou can make sure that you will never experience this fear again wearing one of these wonderful designs, as these looks fill an entire room on their own. The looks seemed quite basic on first view, but all the details, combinations of textures and prints, and also many different fabrics blended together so amazingly well.
