Paris-Salzburg

Last week, we all got overwhelmed by pictures of living and breathing angels with a body so incredible I might not eat chocolate nor fries for three weeks. The Victoria's Secret Angels landed in London, and no-one can possibly have missed with all social media being dominated by on-plane and behind-the-scene pictures.Tonight is the big night for Victoria's Secret, and I bet it will be amazing as always, but in my case, it was an entirely different fashion show that caught my attention. Do not understand me wrong, I will always love VS, but I must admit that I will always be more of a Chanel girl, and my unparted attention goes to the amazing CHANEL M├ętiers d'Art Paris-Salzburg collection that took place December 2nd in Schloss Leopoldskron.

It really is a pity that such an amazing show got overshadowed on social media, as this collection was stunning as always, and when I first saw the runway, I gasped. To me, it was a living Cluedo game, but much more elegant and delicate. The setting, the music, the models, the clothes, everything. The show breathed baroque, Mozart, old fairytales, Victorian era and military influences. A wonderful combination. Also the accompanying film "Reincarnation"directed by Karl Lagerfeld, featuring Pharell Williams and Cara Delevigne was stunning, as it really brought Empress Elizabeth of Austria (better known as Sissi) and her husband back to life. Sissi became CC, and I keep on being amazed by every collection and every movie Chanel releases.

What did you think of the Chanel Pre-Fall 2015 show? What were your favourite looks? Or are you more of a Victoria's Secret girl? I hope you like the looks I selected from the Chanel fashion show!

  8. This Chanel collection looks very luxurious...I think I see some early 19th century influences there...interesting!

To tell you the truth, I don't get the hype surrounding VS show...Maybe I'm just more interested in seeing clothes than lingerie...and it is hard to asses lingerie on girls with zero curves...it's not like those bra of theirs have anything to support.

    1. I couldn't agree more Ivana! Some of the models have a great real body with curves, like Doutzen, but many others just seem like a clothing hanger... I prefer seeing clothes as well! Thank you for sharing your opinion! XOXO

  13. Gorgeous selection of fashion. Well I think, Chanel can't do wrong. It's always classy, chic, elegant, timeless and it has it's own style. It's just Chanel.
